DIY Duck Tape Space Bows

Hi guys. So right now I have some duck tape space bows that I'm going to show you how to make. First I will list the materials.

What you'll need:
-Silver duck tape
- A duck tape color of your choice
- Scissors
- Googly eyes
or
-Rhinestones
- A hair snap
- Another form of adhesive
-You may also want use wax paper.
So without further ado, let's get crafting!

First, you are going to cut two strips of the silver duck tape. Don't worry if they are uneven, you can trim them in the next step.

Next, let one strip overlap on the other. Then trim the edges if you need to.

After that is done, fold one side to the middle. Repeat this step on the other side.

After that, pinch the middle of the duck tape and keep it in place with a binder clip. Sorry, but I lost the picture of me doing this.

When you finish that, go ahead and cut a long piece of the color you want to use. I'm choosing to use yellow.

Then, you want to cut that in half depending on the size of your bow.

Then wrap it around the middle of your bow and put the hair snap behind it, then put the duck tape through the hair snap. I lost the picture of this too, sorry.

Your bow should look like this. You can leave it like this or decorate it.

To decorate it you can use rhinestones or pom-poms. I am just going to use googly eyes. To attach your decorations you have to use some sort of adhesive I'm choosing to use double-sided tape. But you can use anything you want like rubber cement, tacky glue, or even a glue gun. A low temp glue gun works better than a high temp one will on this project.

Your bow should look something like these. Now it is ready to wear. Over and out space cadet!
